Secretary General of Zhanjiang Government Mr. Lian's Speech

Ladies and gentlemen - Today I represent Zhanjiang government to express our congratulations for the sample turbine ground breaking ceremony.  Wind energy is a clean alternative resource. To develop and use wind energy is very important. Zhanjiang has an advantage to develop wind energy because the leaders of Zhanjiang government. and Guangdong government regard this wind farm project as important.  We support the Donghai island 600MW wind farm and the construction of wind equipment factory.  Mr. Zhong Yangsheng, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province has never allowed government departments, in the past, assist in the development process of a wind farm project. I believe, once the sample turbine is installed and tested successfully, the balance of the 600MW wind farm will be completed successfully. Zhanjiang government will continue to support Zhanjiang windcor wind farm to develop wind electricity for our province.

尊敬的各位来宾，女士们，先生们：
在湛江盈风东海岛一期风电场样机工程奠基之际，我代表市委、市政府表示热烈的祝贺。
风力资源是清洁的可再生资源，开发利用风力资源是优化能源结构、实施可持续发展的重要手段。而湛江具有开发风力资源的优越地理条件。广东省人民政府及湛江市委、市政府的主要领导高度重视和支持东海岛60万千瓦风电场及风电设备总装厂两大项目的建设，特别是钟阳胜常务副省长亲自过问并协调有关部门对此两大项目给予支持和配合。       我相信，此风电样机的安装并成功运行测试，将会加快和促进东海岛60万千瓦风电场及风电设备总装厂落户湛江的进程，推动湛江风电产业的高速发展。市委、市政府会继续支持湛江盈风风力发电有限公司风电场建设。
